Frances' Lodge Bed & Breakfast, Siena

Franco and Frances welcome you with open arms and a sip of lemoncello. The gardens are amazing and the property is breathless. We celebrated my 40th birthday and Frances made me a fantastic cake. It was truly memorable. We cant wait to go back.

The accomodations, the ambience, the view, the gardens, the cappucino, the walks, the pool, the lovely design and architecture . . . not to mention our hosts, Franco and Frances. We spent 18 days in Italy-- of all the places we stayed and visited, Frances' was by far our favorite. Frances and Franco are two of the most hospitable, friendly people you will ever meet. Their place, located just outside the walls of Siena, is a restored 18th Century farmhouse that has been in the family since it was built. Frances and Franco restored the villa less than 10 years ago. It is immaculate! Every room has incredible detail and comfort. The grounds and view are breath taking. Our only regret was not staying longer. We highly recommend staying at the villa- if even for a night. You will not be disappointed!
