Settle Inn and Suites Bellevue, Bellevue

No where else have I ever had such aminities for this price; including a pool and hot tub. Lets not forget about the very fulfilling breakfast. The staff was very courtious and helpful. The facility very clean with all fixures in tip top condition both inside and out. I deffinitly suggest this location for your next stay in th area.

I LOVE this place. The rooms were clean (the bathroom was kind of small, but not terrible) the service was 15.5 out of 10 on my scale. It was a hop skip and a jump from Henry Doorley Zoo. Very easy to get to. We had a non-themed room, but next time we will probably get one. The pool was nice and clean. I loved it in every way and we look forward to staying there again!!!

I made a reservation at this hotel in advance. Shortly after I called and asked about the pet policy. I was told "pets under 30lbs were permitted for a $15 fee". So after a 3 day move across country with 2 children and 2 cats we (especially my children) were excited to finally arrive at our final destination and at a themed hotel. I first noticed that this hotel was fairly small and shared a parking lot with a couple fast food restaraunts and a hardware store. But upon walking into the lobby it seemed nice enough. As we began to check in, we told the gentleman we needed to pay the fee for our 2 cats. He immediately responded " OH NO!! We do not allow cats!!" ANd I started to say I called ahead and asked about the pet policy when he began raising his voice, saying " NO ONE HERE WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU THAT. EVERYONE KNOWS OUR POLICY". I then explained that no one specifically said "cats"-- the word used was "pets" which I assumed encompassed cats as well as dogs. He kept repeating that NO ONE SAID ANY SUCH THING TO ME in high volume in front of several other guests and would no longer hear anything we had to say. This left us with quite a problem. After 15-20 calls to information for numbers to other hotels ( at our cost on our cell phone) we found that all hotels accepting pets were booked and we had nowhere to go. It was 90 degrees so it was unsafe and illegal to leave our cats in the car for the night so we ended up having to go to a motel and sneak our cats in-- this meant no pool for our children, no themed hotel ( they had been looking forward to it for days), and a lot of stress for us. I later called to leave a msg for the manager and this same employee began argueing with me again and then claimed to not be able to hear me when I gave him our contact info. Finally I did get in touch with someone who was very apologetic and nice. She offered to compensate us and said she would be in touch. That was 2 weeks ago and we have not heard back. Needless to say we were not impressed with this hotel and iwould not recommend it AT ALL.
