Avoid at all costs!
By S, 07/07/09
I booked this hotel through priceline, and got skeptical after reading other reviews. My fears were true. Although I requested non-smoking room well in advanced, when I arrived, they said there are no non-smoking room available. I told them I am traveling with kids, but they are not willing to listen. Bad experience!!

AWESOME!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/11/09
Clean, and attractive hotel helpful friendly, professional staff, has a game room and a gift shop with snacks. Comfy beds and pillow, refrigerator and pantry were a added bonus. Management put together a wonderful and affordable gift basket for my daughters 3rd birthday. The only negative was that were were unable to utilize the pool & spa..to busy.

not worth the money
By huny, 04/09/09
seen pics on their website. loved the kids suite, but in person the room is very small. we had 3 adults and 2 children and were very cramped. not worth the $165 a night. no coffee maker in room, had to call front desk several times and still didnt receive it until the next morning.. top bunk rail was loose, DANGEROUS. left for the day and returned around 4:30 pm, and our room had NOT been cleaned. the swimming area is very nice. there is a small arcade for the children, but most were out of order, and those that did work often took the quarters without a game. location is close to disneyland, but know the area. it is in a weird one way street only our GPS SYSTEM could locate. restaurant way over prices and service really sucked. we were seated and orders were never took. had to flag the manager down and tell him other people have came in, ordered and ate and we were still there. HELLO?? even though the room came with $20 vouchers for breakfast, and children under 12 eat free, our bill was still $80!! wow!!!! and the food tasted like something from an upscale MCDONALDS. would i stay ther again.?? NO. there are many other places we could stay for that price,

Nice, but too far from Disneyland....
By Michelle, 01/20/09
Loved the pool and restaurant/lounge. The lady in the giftshop was super nice and helpful as were the front desk employees. One of the elevators was out of order during our entire stay and housekeeping left something to be desired. Other than that it was worth the money but we could have spent more time at the park if we had been closer.

Great Hotel to stay in
By Michele, 11/20/08
We booked this hotel through Travelocity for around $92CAD(not including tax) per night. We have stayed here for more than a week. We felt the area were safe. We had booked 2 double beds room. The room was very clean(expecially the washroom). There were a small fridge in the room that we could store drinks THe staff were friendly. The heater/air conditioning was a bit loud when it turned on and off. But we had no problem sleeping at night, as a matter of fact we had great nights sleep. There were 4 small soft pillows per bed. Our only complaint is the wireless internet connection. We brought our laptop with us and were able to connect to websites but as soon as we clicked on a link it goes tick, tick, tick and then sits there. We were not able to send email through hotmail. We finally had to download firefox and use gmail to send emails and it all seems fine.

Awesome Value but Shuttle Service Could Be Better
By David, 09/01/08
First the good...the hotel is an excellent value for the money. Newer rooms, very clean, friendly staff. My son and I loved it. The hotel restaurant was a little on the high priced end but all of the Disney area tends to be spendy for meals. Now for the bad, the ART shuttle comes off as a bit disorganized. Posting a schedule would help for planning purposes. We did a lot of waiting both at the hotel and at disney for the shuttle. It is supposed to come every 20 minutes but sometimes we waited longer. A posted schedule would help matters.

will never be back
By Jessica, 06/29/08
First, it started off bad when we arrived early and called to check in only 15 minutes early and they refused saying they had no rooms cleaned and available yet. I asked if something would be ready at the 3:00 guaranteed time and they said that there should be. The customer service was awful the whole trip after that too. When we turned down our beds that night we saw brown glops of something spattered about on the sheet. We called 3 times and waited an hour before someone finally came with new sheets. People were allowed to smoke at the non-smoking hot tub, the on-site restaurant staff ignored us, and housekeeping did a lousy job, we did not notice that they even came the last 2 days of our 4 day trip. We are very nice people and have worked in the service industry ourselves in the past so we know it is not hard to give good service. We will never be back to this hotel.

Terrible Service - Dirty Room
By Sabrina0074, 06/29/08
We arrived before 3:00 p.m. to check in and were told that the room wasn't ready yet and asked to return at 3:00 p.m. which is check-in time. We returned at 3:45 p.m. which should have been plentry of time to have the room ready and when we arrived we were told it still wasn't ready. By this time, we were tired and so were our 2 young children who were ready for a nap. I explained that were were told to return at this time. I was then told that the room should be ready in about 25 minutes and that whoever told me to come back at 3:00 was wrong because it is not their policy to give people confirmation as to when a room will be available. Keep in mind that just seconds prior, he told me that the room would be ready in 25 minutes! If you stay at this hotel - save yourself some stress and call ahead to be sure the room is ready. We were finally able to check in after 4:00 pm into the Kids Suite. The room was not what we expected. There was a hole in the wall, there was food crumbs all along the window and air conditioner, the chairs in the kids room were filthy, the cabinet for food was dirty with crumbs and build-up, and the closet shelves were falling apart. The bathroom smelled strongly of urine. I was able to take pictures of everything - except the bathroom odor but take my word for it. I would NOT recommend the Kids Suite to anyone unless you plan on bringing your own bottle of Bleach or Lysol to clean it up yourself. The only plus side of this hotel is the location - it's very close to Disneyland and the Buena Park attractions. Even so, I would NEVER want anyone I know to stay at this hotel and I will never return.

Would Definitely Stay Again
By JaniceH, 06/10/08
The rooms were very clean. The pool was nice. Service was excellent. There was a refrigerator in the room which kept us from having to go out to eat constantly.
