Wonderful place!

My husband and i spent last weekend in Newport and we very happy with the Inn we stayed in. The service was great, our room was clean. The breakfast was quite a surprise with its french toasts, blueberry pancakes, omelet, etc.

What a Wonderful Surprise!!

This is the second time I have been to the Inns on Bellevue. The first time wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. They have made some beautiful changes to the rooms (we had a group), the breakfast was homemade and incredible, the new employees are so welcoming and helpful with suggestions for local entertainment, and the overall hospitality was just wonderful! The new management has made all the difference!! Also the value can't be beat. I HIGHLY suggest staying at the Inns on Bellevue on your next stay.

Disaster Area

Stayed there for a wedding over the weekend from the UK. No running water for the bath. Shower tap simply came off and was never fixed. On complaing was told by the owner that it was ruining his evening. Newport is a fantastic place. Whatever you do do not taint it by staying here. If you cannot afford somewhere else merely stay for less time. This is not an option.

Great location gross place

The location is fantastic. My room was very dirty and several things were broken in the room: bedpost, window, closet, and thermostat.There was a also a wet washcloth slung over the shower. I informed the manager on duty that my sheets were dirty(disgusting) and she did credit me for one night's stay. The big shock came, when I received in the mail, a $100.00 charge to my credit card with the manager claiming that I broke the bed spindle. When I called the manager, she insisted that I did the damage. I would never recommend this place. What a hassel. There to stay are lots of other places right in the vicinity.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Location is great and rooms are clean. However this place needs some TLC; our four post bed had one post glued on and when I passed by it the post fell off, our remote control was taped with scotch tape but still did not work. Our mattress was old and lumpy and the ceiling in the bathroom had large water staines. Breakfeast was very nice and the little dining area was cozy. I think that we will be staying elsewhere on our next trip to Newport.

elegant, clean, convenient location

Never been to Newport....we booked last minute and were more than lucky to get to stay at this beautiful, quaint Inn. We parked our car on Friday.......and walked the whole weekend because of the convenient location.....attended the Tennis matches at the Hall of Fame and were able to leave our car on checkout day at the Inn with no charge. (Very nice as we would have had to pay $20.00 or more to park elsewhere.) We felt you could not beat the location and price (not to mention friendly staff). Will be back next year, for sure.

The Inn on Bellevue

My husband and I stayed there for our anniversary weekend early October of this year. The inn was exquisite....the dining area where breakfast is served was very quaint - the whole place screamed ambiance! I was especially impressed by the bathroom floor - you could eat off it, it was so clean!

The inn is very centrally located and within walking distance of everything. We parked our car in the inn parking lot on Friday evening and didn't use it again until we had to leave (sadly) Sunday.

We complimented the proprietor when checking out. We DEFINITELY plan to go back there.
