Farmers' Guest House, Galena

i have no complain at all the staff must keep up the good work that they are doing always. i am going to give you all the whole five(5) stars each and everyone of you deserves it. all the best from the group of lovely Dominicans!! we will be back, we promise,and we will make ourselves known.

We have stayed at the Farmer's Guest House for a number of years and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Kathie, Jess and Charles are like our second family-welcoming, warm and thoughtful. The rooms are charming, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are outstanding, and Kathie always makes sure there are freshly baked cookies. Help yourself to milk, water, pop anytime you wish. They have a great selection of DVDs to watch in your room after a wonderful day in town (within easy walking distance-no tying to find a parking space on a busy weekend). The innkeepers go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay, letting you know about local happenings, making reservations at restaurants, making suggestions about what to see and do. We look forward to visiting at least twice a year. The hospitality is incomparable!!

This place is great. Jess, Kathie, and Charles made us feel right at home. The breakfast was fantastic. Our room was very warm with the glow of the fireplace making it very romantic. We can't wait to return. We took a tour of 5 other B &Bs and none were as welcoming and warm as this place. Nancy and I highly recommend the Farmers Guest House. See you there. Mike and Nancy F
