beautiful tranquility

My husband and I are so glad that we decided to stay at the Reef for our honeymoon. I am still having withdrawls after a week back. We were looking for somewhere beautiful and peaceful, and we got it. We went around to some of the resorts on 7 mile, and it only reassured us that we picked the best place. The beach was beautiful and I never saw more than 3 people on the beach at one time. We felt like we had paradise all to ourselves. It seemed to be the perfect location to watch the sunrise. The concierges were very helpful. They seemed eager to help, and I felt that I was getting great unbiased opinions about different spas, parasailing, restaurants, diving, etc. I liked how the rooms were decorated, and it all seemed very clean. We even seemed to get a better breeze than we were getting at the resorts on 7 mile which is important when you are spending most of your day in the sun. I loved the drive between Georgetown and the Reef. There wasn't much traffic at all, no one seemed to have a problem with going 20 over the speed limit, and its an awesome view the entire way, because it just follows the coast line. I actually looked forward to that nice drive during sunset after a full day sightseeing.
This kind of tranquility isn't for everyone, but if you are looking for a truly relaxing vacation away from the chaos of a touristy area, then the Reef is the place to go. I can't seem to say enough good things about the Reef. We will definitely be returning!
