Astoria Hotel, Seoul

Conveniently located on the fringe of Myong-dong and at the foot of Nam-san, the Astoria boasts extremely well appointed rooms for a second-class hotel. Great shopping and dining is within walking distance, as is the historic 'Korea House'. The spotlessly clean rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, telephone, TV, mini bar and en-suite facilities. Note that only ONE free breakfast is normally provided per room, but they generously dish up two on Sundays and public holidays. A taxi from the airport should cost under KRW20,000. From Chungmuro subway station, the Astoria is just 100 meters from Exit 4.
