If you are in need of a cheap place to stay in Santa Barbara, this is it. This is a good sized motel in the middle of a business district. You have Highway 101 on one side of the property, and a busy street on the other. Next to you is a bowling alley and shopping center.
The rooms are small, the beds are poor to average in comfort. You can hear everything going on outside of your room which we eventually got used to.
The staff was very nice which helped the experience for us. The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant and we really appreciated that. Also on the positive side, there is no shortage of restaurants that you can walk to.
Just remember the title of this review and know that there's a reason you're paying less to stay in such a pretty town.
