Located in the heart of Taipei financial district and situated next to Taipei Railway Station and the underground Taipei MRT Station (Accessible from Exit 3), Cosmos Hotel is a grand 15-floor building with 2 basement levels. We have the Grand Lobby, Front Desk, Safe Deposit Room and Travel Desk. Besides, we also have the Cafeteria, Italian Gelato Ice Cream Shop, Conference Rooms, Souvenir Shop, Barber Shop, Flower Shop and a Convenience Store. They are all within the reach of all our guests. 2nd and 3rd floor are the Chinese Restaurant offering sumptuous buffet breakfast, 12 KTV rooms and spacious sites for weddings and private parties. We offer 226 truly comfortable and warm guestrooms with modern facilities. The 5th ? 16th floor house the hotel guestrooms, while the 17th floor is the club floor offering business suites, conference room, internet service, caf? and a massage room for the use of our business travellers.

Clean and convenient

Room was clean and spacious. Location is very convenient, just a short walk to the entrance of the railway station. Breakfasts were mostly the same for the four mornings when we satyed there. Service was good and they were very polite. We'll go back to this hotel the next time we go to Taipei.

Convenient, clean, and reasonable

Bus from airport drops you off at train station in Taipei. Hotel is across street from train station. Very convenient. Hotel is nice, rooms are clean and spacious, service is excellent. Breakfasts are very good. About the only thing that could have gone better is they did not have a room for me until 1:30 (normal check in time is 2:00) and I arrived early in the morning. So I just left my luggage and did a little shopping. Good value and great location. I will surely be going back to Cosmos in the future.

Better than I expected

My Lonely Planet guide says that if this hotel was any nearer to the train station, it would be inside the train station. Not so, it's at least 100 metres away and is almost impossible to see from the station. The Caesar Park is dead opposite, so I stayed there (4,800 NT) for one night, but they were full for the last night in Taipei. I spotted the Cosmos from my hotel room window. Next morning I checked in for 2,650 NT but was told it had no windows! I dreaded what I would find, but it was excellent. Small, but well equipped with a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. Lots of lights in the room including an illuminated bedhead. The restaurant was good, I had a buffet dinner for 660 NT. Definately a good hotel. I'll probably stay at the Caesar Park next time for the bigger room, but if it's full, the Cosmos is the perfect alternative.

The best hotel for business in Taipei

I am doing a personal business in IT and often travel to Taipei to see my customers. I do not take the taxi but the airport bus, high speed rail and the underground. This is the best hotel ideally situated on the same side of Taipei Railway Station. I like it best because of the location. And whenever I go to Kaohsiung on a day trip, I arrived back at Taipei Railway Station and just simply walk up through exit 3 to the hotel.

Right there they are waiting to receive you very politely repeatingly with the sign of welcome.Everything looked extrimly clean and neat. But no one can speak English therefore public relation is weak.
