Hotel Princess, Guatemala City

I am getting ready to take my daughter, now 7 1/2 years old, to Guatemala to see where she was born. when I adopted her, at 4 1/2 months, I stayed at Princess. I felt so comfortable there... they were like family. I even corresponded with some of the staff after we went back to the States. I am considering having my whole family go back with me on this trip, and I hope to be able to stay here again. I loved it!!!

It's excellent service, beautiful rooms very comfortable, great location, lovely I love it and I recommended very much. I have a great experience while I was in, the food is great! very very nice service, you don't need to travel any far to enjoyed all the 5 stars services!!!

The staff were so helpful. They told us of wonderful restaurants, shops, etc. We were there adopting our baby. They were so thoughful and kind to us. We went back for a second visit about 18 months after the adoption and they were just as wonderful as before. There are newer hotels, but this one was great to our family.

I stayed at the Princess with the seven year old girl that we are in the process of adopting from Guatemala. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were very kind to my future daughter. The room was roomy and comfortable, although the carpet was very dirty. That would be my only complaint. The hotel has a small but nice outdoor pool, the food was very good, and the continental breakfast had a nice variety of food choices. The location allowed for shopping and restaurants within walking distance. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at The Princess. Muchas gracias!

I was vacationing in Guatemala for the holy week. I spent three nights at Princess Reforma for a rate of $83.00-22 % tax included. Spend a few nigths outside of the city, but had to return to Guatemala City for international flight, so I decided to make Princess my choice of stay once again. This time I didn't reserve room in advance, walked in asked for a room for 1 night. Guess what? Price was now $111.00 tax inclusive for same exact room. of course I was surprized and not happy. Caveat emptor! Maybe if I spoke the language, the price would have changed.

My experience was very nice, it was amazing to see the great service they have, every single worker (front desk, waitress, bell boy)seem very concern to help you to fix any need you may have, it gave me the idea that every worker had the serious mission to make your life easier. It was beautiful to see all of them with that big smile in their faces was beautiful. Great service from the registration in the hotel, until the check out. The room 424 was beautiful designed, old fashion. Thanks to Luis and David from the front Desk.
