The kids played the Playstation games, drank the milkshakes and ate the crisps and Louise and I got 90 minutes of peace and quiet as we waited for the flight spoilt only by Louise’s lack of progress with crossword. As we drove from the airport into the city we passed some of the wooden shanty towns of the Cape Flats an eye opener for Louise but familiar to me from my trips to Sao Paulo .
