Our first day was spent at the Hilton Caribe. First off the hotel is in need of some renovation. The hilton did have a nice garden where we took a few pics. We were tired from the plane flight over and didn't follow our plan. We just grabbed dinner at the hotel at the Morton's of chicago there. We should have done someting else it was just an average steak for too much money. This is a picture of Daidra from the Gardens at the Hilton Caribe. We walked from the Hilton Caribe to Old San Juan and the El Morro Fort. This is one of the more interesting things we did. I am not a fan of walking all o...

We arrived at 3pm, took a cab to Hotel El Convento. The hotel is gorgeous! The staff is extremely friendly, and we found that we had been upgraded to a suite. We rented a car and it was really easy to get around. Taxis are also easy. We then drove to Fajardo (about 1hr drive from San Juan) and took a ferry across to the island of Vieques. Fajardo was easy to find. Its pretty much one road all the way from San Juan. We had a little trouble finding the port, but we asked someone and they gave us great directions. There is a place to leave your rental car for cheap, and the lot is gated. Vieques easi...
