Actually, I have transited at Narita Airport so many times before, but this was the first time, I could really say 'I'm in Japan'. So exciting! Shinkansen: from Tokyo to Kyoto We decided to purchase 7-day JR pass (from our country) although we could have taken a bus which would cost much less. We just wanted to experience the shinkansen ride which did not disappoint us at all. The ride was smooth and took less than three hours.
