We were seated in the very last row of the plane and of course there was that requisite screaming toddler just a few rows away. Getting to Verona from the states is never a direct affair. As such if you are trying to reach Verona directly be sure that whichever airline you are using checks your luggage all the way through. We saw many instances along the way of folks that were forced to reclaim and then recheck their luggage at each stop. Air travel now days is stressful enough, don't make it anymore stressful then needed by having to monkey with that scenario. We flew from Boston to Munich and then onto Rome. We got into Rome in the early afternoon and at 4:30 we met Lino and signed up for some optional excursions. Then at around 6:00 that night we went on our "Rome By Night" dinner. We went to a nice restaurant and had a 4 or 5 course meal. We even had some entertainment, some opera singers.
