Our first trip to Europe with Mom & Dad (the well seasoned travelers) We (the Santuci’s & Koepsell’s) arrived in Frankfurt Germany via Delta Airlines. We flew Business Elite so our flight was so nice and we were well rested to start our trip. The Frankfurt Airport is huge. The car rental Company (Hertz) didn’t have our Mercedes Sedan; instead we got an Audi and hardly had room for our 4 suitcases. It was quite small for the four of us. Our first stop was Heidelberg Germany. We walked up to the castle and around the town. I bought a black & white plate at a cute little shop. It’s a charming lit...

Went to Franfurt first -- you can fly into here and Berlin for the best rates. It was a busy city, much like a small NY or Philly. Great bar and club sceen--good food stands and public transportation. Had no problem getting around, the subway was easy to follow and cheap, only used a Taxi a few times. Every one was friendly and helpful. Homeless people here and there, but hey its a large city. You can pretty much get lost here, something to look at or do at every turn. Good to only spend about a day or so here, if you are looking for more of the old world Europe you probably won't like it much...
