For a six-day getaway, recently we drove up to Ephraim, Wis., in Door County to find rest, food, and fun. The resting part was done at the Ephraim Inn http://www.ephraiminn.com where quiet and professional service prevail. This is one of our favorite B&B spots with a breakfast that's very good and fresh, although it was unexpectedly cut back in content from last year. Earlier this year, we also stayed in a Harbor View condo http://www.harborviewresort.com/ which had wonderful innkeepers with large rooms, a big deck facing the sunset, and many other amenities.
