We of course arrived at JFK WAYYYYY too early - but that's part of the fun of traveling with dad. He would rather be early than late. It must be where I get it from. There wasn't anyplace to drink beer and watch the nfl playoffs, but there were tv's everywhere so we were able to watch the giants get beat and the city drop it's collective head and sigh. We got to Chicago in no time, and then hit some major delays. Something about ice on the plane ... I'm taking their word for it. They eventually let us onto the plane, where we waited even longer.
