Today we left Lawrenceburg, KY where we stayed the night with Grandma. We started out about 10:30am after getting a quick breakfast at McD's and arrived at the Wyndham Smoky Mountains Resort around 2pm. We stopped at the Tennessee Welcome Center to get flyers, maps, coupons, brochures on things to do in the Smoky Mnt. area. We had a wonderful check in at the resort. There was a caroler, and tons of Christmas decorations with a Large Christmas tree taking center stage of the lobby. They had lots of goodies for the people waiting to check-in/get rooms. Biltmore Estate tickets also reserved for Day 5, but Monticello, Dixie Stampede, Cherokee and caves are weather dependent at this time. Possible activities and restaurants are just grouped within the date ranges by areas we are staying.
