Three Weeks Before the Trip... and I'm still planning it. I'm sure I'll be in the planning process up until the last minute, but I want to make sure I have all of my information. I'm really looking forward to this. We haven't been on a trip in 2 years... and that was to Amarillo to see friends. At this point, just about everything -- I think -- has been scheduled except for Bald Head Island, Carolina Roadhouse (do we really wanna go there?), and The Sea Captain's House. Also, I'm still on the fence about Hard Rock Park. We'll see how the next two weeks go and then decide on that.

Nothing great in town, but fun to see the busy mountain tourist town. We ate at the Cherokee Grill, pleasantly surprised by our meal. Clean, contemporary decor was a nice surprise as well. Didn't eat at the Log Cabin Pancake House. It was very difficult to find anything open before 7am in Gatlinburg. We were trying to get an early start, but even our hotel office didn't open until 8am. Drove to Cades Cove as early as possible. Beau...
