We are piling stuff on the bed in the guest room for the last couple of days, and of course we are excited about finally gtting close to leaving. Ethel, (our GPS) is programmed, as well as the route all planned in streets and trips, and of course the computer will be on my lap part of the way to make sure we stay on track. We wake up in Kansas City at 4:00 a.m. and by 6:15 we were in the air toward Hartford, Ct. by way of Detroit. Our connecting flight was delayed an hour. This trip is so tightly planned that any delay means cancelling part of that day's activities. We land in Hartford and within 20 minutes are entering the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA. We spent two hours here and helped out their souvenir shop. From here we drove through MA into Rhode Island to eat at Evelyn's Drive Inn in Tiverton. This place was on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives along with our SD favorite Hodad's. A little pricey ...
