OK, first day is to get to Tucumcari. Hope to leave about 4:00am. With a 14 hour drive to NM and about 2 hours for stops, we should arrive by 8:00. With the hour addition as we are going west, we will get there about 7:00. We can get to bed early as we need to leave Tucumcari by that same 4:00 to get to Taos Valley by 8:00. We may leave even earlier if weather is looking malevolent for Sunday.
