May 19, we finally hit the road. Since we were 5 days late getting started we decided to skip the Oregon/Washington leg of our trip and headed straight to Dillon Montana. First stop was overnight in Reno to see Uncle Tak. We stayed in the Motorhome in front of his house. Set up a business telephone line at his place and took him out to dinner at the Nugget. Next morning, we left early and drove 600 miles to Idaho Falls. Spent the night in a rest stop on I15. Pretty quiet there (NO REEFERs) so everyone got a good night’s sleep. Thursday, May 21, we got to Dillon and set up camp at Countryside R...

The movers showed up at about 8:30am and finished packing our belongings. Maddie seemed to be fasinated by all the taping, wrapping and moving. She joined in as much as she could. Then at around 2pm everything was loaded and we said good bye to Crystal Towers. After a quick stop for lunch, we were on the road. At the time of departure, it was 75 degrees in DC, a record high. Today we passed through Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Maddie had a hard time sleeping after all the excitement so we were all happy to see our hotel just outside of Pittsburgh.
