Today was really the first day. Despite getting in at midnight, we looked around a bit and collapsed. We adults had stayed at Napili Sunset before, which is right on the beach, but Napili Shores came up in the package so it was new. Breakfast at the Sea House at Napili Kai resort. A great start. Table by the bay, kid happy, mom happy, dad happy. Note: everything with kalua pork is good. Not so wet as some places, more like a smoky carnitas, but really good. And strong coffee. We checked out Snorkel Bob (old fav) vs the upstart Boss Frog. Conclusion: Boss Frog has some better rates but seems to...

For the cruise, try to reserve 5:30 seatings, this leaves time for shows in the even...

We stopped at the Safeway on the way to our hotel to pick up some breakfast supplies and snacks. We had brought sandwitches on the plane for dinner so we weren't hungry. We planned to get up at 3:30 Hawaii time (6:30 Tucson time) to drive to the top of Haleakala to view the sunrise, so we went to bed early. We woke up on schedule a...
