our flight left california 30 minutes late due to one of the baggage security scanners breaking down, but then we ended up in honolulu 3o minutes early! we were pretty hungry after the plane trip (no food served on 5 hour flight but for round trip tickets for 2 to hawaii for less than $600 (ata airlines) and i'm not complaining. besides, who actually wants to eat ariline food?) so we were headed off to singhai thai cuisine. well somebody (me) didn't check what time the place opened so when we arrived around 11am we were greeted with a "sorry we're closed" sign. my girlfriend noticed the todai ...

Well, Chuck left for Oahu this morning, I will leave Tuesday. I am so excited I can't do or think anything other than Hawaii. You know ever since 911, I have been a nervous flier (more like afraid). There are those who thought I wouldn't do a 10 hour flight. Well I took a fear of flying course and reknewed my faith... I AM GOING- if it kills me (see I can now joke about it).
