The trip started out with an early morning drive to the Orlando Airport. We decided that since we had 3 big bags to drop them off at curb side, pay the tip, then take our time parking the car in economy blue lot. We had our southwest passes A60 and B1. In between A and B is some other group, kids or something. So anyway I had to hold the seats. The direct flight to Denver is real nice and I got my Bose noise canceling head phones and ipod. We get there around 11am, luggage takes a while and once one of our big bags arrives, it has a broken wheel. By the way Southwest is not responsible for bro...

Las Vegas Day 1 and 2. Staying at the MGM Signature. We had a great suite on the 28th floor with views of sunrise, the full moon and the city lights. Transportation from airport to MGM via Executive Airport Shuttle cost $6.00 per person. Very efficient. Rode monorail to end of line. Fun. Took City Bus to Freedom Street. Not worth the trip except for a few pictures. Rode the bus back to the strip. We visited: The Venetian Hotel and Canals which is awesome. Ceasar's Palace is worth exploring. Staying at the MGM Signature has been great. We are on the 28th floor and have a great view of city, air...

We used kayak.com to find the best flights from the New York City metro area to Denver. We spent $267 each for a direct non-stop flight from Newark airport to Denver airport on Continental. At Denver airport we picked up our ski-season weekly special SUV from Thrifty Rent-a-car . Most car rental places had these weekly specials for around $251 for a week. Including taxes and insurance it came out to be around $300 for the week. We stayed in Evergreen, Colorado with a relative. The following day was a humongous snow storm, so we just went to Idaho Springs to pick up some ski rentals from Maison...
