We arrived in Vancouver at about 11:00 pm and went straight to the hotel to rest up for our first day of vacation. The Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel was easy to find but I'm glad we only had to spend a few hours there. Their keycard system was on the fritz so we had to be escorted up to our room. When we made it inside, the walls were thin enough to hear highway traffic and other hotel guests. Luckily we were pretty tired and fell asleep quickly. We left our Vancouver hotel at 7:00 to catch the 8:30 ferry to Victoria. A short cab ride brought us to the station and we were on our way to Swartz ...

Stopped for a cup of coffee to get me going. It's going to be a long day! Great brunch buffet. Didn't gamble this time... probably better off! I was going to stop at the Anderson Valley Brewery for a little tasting, but I was still full from breakfast. Maybe next trip. I did however stop at the Boonville Flea Market (cute little thing!) and bought some kitchen stuff and a new (to me) movie. Great place to get your feet wet! Cute little tourist town!
