Tuesday Nov. 20, 2007 At 6:00 a.m. we left for a 12 hour drive to Mobile Al. Our neighbors and their two kids in their car joined my wife and I and our two kids in our car and we caravanned through Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and finally Alabama. We ate at the Brick Pit (my boys devoured their giant 1/2 orders of ribs.) and arrived early enough at our motel. Early enough that is that we drove to downtown and toured the Mobile Police Museum. Everything seemed to be working together to get us slowed down on this drive to the beach. We ended up getting to the condo a littele after 9pm. This was the first time we rented a two bedroom one at Sugar Beach. It was nice enough, but could have used some updating. The only tv that had a remote that would work was the living room, that was a little aggravating. Anyway, the kiddos had to do some nigh...
