Hong Kong Hotels

We took the 8 o’clock flight to Hong Kong via the Philippine Airlines. I don’t have much sleep the night before and was heavily exhausted from finishing my end-of-semester deadlines in school. Today I woke up and the first thing I thought was - where is my cat - which is what I'm usually thinking these days when I wake up because he's generally a trouble maker. I realized I was in Hong Kong and it was still quite early given that I hadn't gotten in to go to bed til late last night. Allan's friend Kenny picked me up at the airport - hour ride into the heart of Hong Kong. At midnight the street still had plenty of people and noise. After 17 hours of travel, we finally arrive in HK where we find Lisa and our mountain of suitcases. The flight was fairly uneventful except for the series of UFO's which flew along with us just before we reached Honk Kong. (seriously! 12 lights in formation which the pilot had not seen) Tired and hungry, we found a shuttle to the hotel at 10:00pm and grabbed some japanese noodles at a nearby restaurarnt. The hotel is okay but they overcharged us for the room so we used this to get a free upgrade to a regular room. What they called a "superior room" turned out to more like a "jail cell" with ...
