Villa Flori Hotel, Como

Had stayed in the past and thought the hotel was a little dusty, but with old fashion Italian charm and a great view of the lake. This time for our Honeymoon we decided to return and asked for the same room we had stayed in previously. This was when making the reservation back in April (4 month earlier). When we arrived the hotel was almost empty but our requested room had been given to another couple. Staff was excessively unfriendly and uncooperative when not rude. We were given a room that resembled more a retirement home with a bathroom the size of a closet and shabby bed sheets for the same price. (you never know what you'll get). It was noisy especially at night and early morning because of highway when it was not the only other couple that was arguing... Exactly what one would wish for on a honeymoon! Never again!
