We found the service to be totally unacceptable!!

The location was very good, and the rooms were large and clean. After an exhausting flight from Newark, we had to wait for 4 hours for our rooms. They did not even offer us a cup of coffee. The lock on the doors were difficult to operate. We got no assistance at the front desk when we asked for help in locating restaurants, tours, bus and train stations, etc. Basically we found the front desk people to be rude and quite anti American. We were booked for 3 consecutive nights for our first week, and one night the second week. Before we left the hotel, we tried to confirm our reservation for the following week. One person could not or would not confirm. Another clerk did confirm for us. When we arrived for our last night in Rome, we were told that we had to be moved to another hotel because they had a flood. We would never go back.
