Hotel Quirinale, Rome

I stayed in the hotel for 6 nights and i thought it was very clean. There wasn't a lot of noise. The buffet was beautiful, lots of things to choose from. The service was excellent. The people in the front desk was very helpful. A centrual location to all the attractions that you can walk to. I read some of the reviews and I can not believe some people complained about the hotel! I had no problems with the service in the hotel. If anybody is going to Rome and looking for a hotel thats the Quirinale! When you read some of the reviews you have to stop and think that some people just love to complain about anything. I stayed in this hotel because I wanted that Rome feeling.

The location was very good, and the rooms were large and clean. After an exhausting flight from Newark, we had to wait for 4 hours for our rooms. They did not even offer us a cup of coffee. The lock on the doors were difficult to operate. We got no assistance at the front desk when we asked for help in locating restaurants, tours, bus and train stations, etc. Basically we found the front desk people to be rude and quite anti American. We were booked for 3 consecutive nights for our first week, and one night the second week. Before we left the hotel, we tried to confirm our reservation for the following week. One person could not or would not confirm. Another clerk did confirm for us. When we arrived for our last night in Rome, we were told that we had to be moved to another hotel because they had a flood. We would never go back.

We stayed at the Quirinale for 3 nights in November 2006. Our room faced the courtyard so was very quiet. It was also huge and the bathroom was not only huge, but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good and we liked the location. Would stay again.

I had my wedding reception in this hotel in '04 and i absolutely loved it! We stayed for a week. Everything was perfect and couldnt have asked for nicer setting. Ok, we had bridal suite but both families stayed in hotel and their rooms were fab as well. Cant wait to go back!! Definately recommend fopr a wedding party!

The Hotel is beautiful and kept up very well. I stayed there a year ago in december and it has a great location and I LOVED it. I swear some folks would complain just to complain.

The hotel location was excellent. Near the bus station and tons of shopping next door! The hotel itself has probably seen better days. The rooms were nice, however the hard wood floors could have done with more polish and care. The bathroom floors too could use more care. However, the staff was friendly and it was one of the best hotel breakfasts I had in Italy. Would recommend again!

It's a very old hotel and very noisy as well. My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights and from day one complained about the bath tub full of black stuff and it was never fixed. Very poor breakfast as well.

The location is superb. Close to the central station, so you have a good access to Firenze. We will never use this hotel again, however, because of our experience. We arrived late at around 9:30 in the evening due to the delayed flight, and the hotel gave us the smallest ever twin room. We were too tired to make complaints that night. The next morning when we were ready to move out, we were given a better room and stayed two more nights, but the initial impression was a little too poor to be compensated by other services.
