B&B Firenze Centro, Florence

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a week, and it fully lived up to our expectations. The rooms were nice and very clean, towels changed daily. All the staff was very friendly and helpfull, so all in all a very pleasent stay. All major sights within walking distance (we like to walk).

My husband and I were very disappointed when we arrived at this hotel. It was obviously built in the 50's and the rooms and decor have not been updated in years. The place had a weird musty smell, and just gave us the willies. It was also a pretty far walk from the center of Florence. We disliked it so much that we spent as much time as possible away from the place until we had to sleep or shower. The pictures on the website make the place look MUCH better than it actually is. We both agreed that this hotel was a one-star...it was pretty much a motel. Yuck.
