excellent getaway

I am a Buchanan from Virginia and went with my wife back to the acestral home of the clan on Loch Lomond. If you are in that part of the world for any reason the Buchanan Arms Hotel is all that you could want. Spacious rooms, quaint and historic. with a lovely restaurant and a great pub - the Clachan Inn -up the hill at the center of town. The Clachan is the oldest pub in all of Scotland. Ancient Buchanan Castle and Buchanan Castle Golf Club are worth visiting about 10 minutes away.
