Top-notch hotel, great location and service
It's very convenient to much of central London, and we used the Embankment tube station every day. As mentioned elsewhere, it would be a perfect location if you have business with the government, or otherwise in the Westminster area.
Everyone was polite and extraordinarily helpful: our visitor was having trouble finding it among the nearby construction and all the other white buildings; she called the hotel, and the concierge walked down the street to meet her! The breakfasts were an excellent start to the day. The room was a tad small for a grand hotel, but quite spacious after the B&Bs (and a convent room!) from earlier in the trip, and pleasingly luxurious. We had a great view of the London Eye, very dramatic at night.
The cost was a bit of a stretch for us, though with a multi-night stay the price was surprisingly reasonable, though I'd suggest making other arrangements for laundry service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
