Very nice hotel but poor quality food
The rooms were very nice. I went to the hotel with my husband for a 2 night break. Our room was OK apart from the broken bathroom door and sour milk for the tea and coffee. I was not impressed by the food. The breakfast table were not set properly and the food was a little cold although there was plenty to eat. We experienced cold food at the evening carvery but again, there was plenty to choose from. The standard of cooking is not what I expected for the Hilton hotel. The entertainment in the lounge was good but we were unable to purchase a sandwich after 10pm in the bar even though we were able to order a sandwich as in house room service. No, I wouldn't go back there. We paid £110 plus VAT per night and I did not think the price reflected the overall standard.
