Astotel Trianon Gare De Lyon, Paris

This hotel is in a lively and interesting area of Paris. It has 24/7 bilingual staff who are friendly and knowedgable. The breakfast at 11E is a little steep for the area but there are plenty of options, including two grocery stores withing a block. A bus stops right outside the door and connects to the trains and Metro and other bus service if you are not a walker. A great view of Notre Dame and the Seine is just a little less than a mile away and an easy walk. The rooms are European small but very clean and comfortable. Our room was on the very busy street (B.Diterot) so we got a lot of street noise. It didn't impede our sleep, however, since the bed was good and miles of walking has its effect. We'd recommend this hotel for anyone does not need to be in America while in Europe.
