Le Mas d Artigny and Spa, Saint-Paul

My wife and I made a trip to France last May, and wanted to stay in the Nice area so that we could easily access St. Tropez, Cannes, Nice and Monaco (which we did!)while being a bit out of the way but in high class. We found all of that at Le Mas de Artigny. The service was great (though as usual, we were looked at with a "huurmph" one night when we didn't have reservations for dinner), but overall the service was impecable and the place just a delight! A view from our room in the distance, of the mediterranean and St. Paul de Vence to the east. It was everything I had hoped for. I made special arrangements for flowers and champagne for our room. As it turned out, we got there and a higher balcony room was available which we took, so the concierge caught me aside to say "we will have your request set up in the new room" out of my wife's earshot...and they did! I highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the cities but still are within easy driving distance of them.
