Hotel Nogaro, LANúS

Excellent location , good value for your bucks.Both my wife and I will be staying at the Nogaro on our next vist to Buenos Aires. Eddie Lott Buffalo N,Y

The location is fabulous, the lobby is great, breakfast is sumptuous, the staff are friendly and helpful but the air conditioning is almost non-existant on a hot day. We stayed there twice and on both occasions the A/C could not handle the load. The front desk was inundated with guests complaining about the heat in the rooms which was around 26C. The A/C seems to work well on the second floor but the droning noise of the kitchen fan will wake you around 6 am.

Didn't find a single thing wrong with this hotel; no one should travel and expect everything to be just like "at home" - if it is, why bother traveling? Maybe, while the rating of 4 Stars for this hotel isn't quite what an American expects from 4 Stars, it is soon forgotten by the feeling that one gets of coming "home" every day after exploring Buenos Aires and any other turist experience, that "Rating" becomes a lower level priority. The Nogaro is definately a hotel I would recommend to anyone who travels to Buenos Aires to enjoy the visit and have a relaxed feeling while there. Can't think of a single negative thing to say about this hotel. But then, I never travel and expect everything to be just like at home - if I wanted that, I would stay at home; but I didn't stay at home, I went to Buenos Aires, and The Nogaro Hotel was perfect for me! May everyone else traveling to Buenos Aires feel the same, and enjoy their trip as much as I did!

The Nogaro is a small to midsize hotel in the congress area near Plaza De Mayo. The area was ok, but I would not recommend walking the area later at night. We found it pleasant hotel, although a room change was needed as being close to the elevators was too noisy. We were accomadated and much happier with a quieter room on the 7th floor. We could not get a key for the room safe until the third day which was a bummer, but the complimentary breakfast was nice. All in all, worth the 60 dollars a night.

I really liked this hotel. When I was there, the construction had finished. My room was small but very nice, with hardwood floors, nice bed, closet space etc. The staff was excellent in my opinion. There was free internet access and gym in the floor below the lobby. The morning breakfast was great. My only complaint was that the rooms didnt have irons, but the housekeepers were very gracious in letting me use theirs. I would stay here again.

Great mid size hotel located next to the Plaza de Mayo and not far from Florida Street, great room service (clean and confortable) and well done meals, the only detail I dislike is that the room was to small for what I think should be a four stars hotel (double room).
