I went to Buenos Aires for 10 nights stay.
Booked with assistance of Giselle Sosa of their own reservation department.
No problems whatsoever. Pleasant communication and information, no misunderstandings, very good english.
However in the beginning for the first night i got a room like some people mentioned here, it was changed directly the second morning with kind assistance of Adrian, good helpful and pleasant employee of the reception. Hotel was pretty full that first night cause of public holiday, Day of The Flag. Thats why that room.
The other room was very fine with view on Av 9 Julho and main street.
Service and staff are polite friendly and helphful if you require any assistance or advice. they can book for you variety of trips around the city and more with assistance of local travel office.
Room was fresh, clean and well maintained on daily base including change of sheets and towels of course.
Hotel is busy renovating older rooms and bathrooms. Those renovated ones are fine to stay and remain in great old style while stuff being placed like in bathrooms is new, nicely tiled and clean....still remaining style of architecture of the hotel.
Place is situated just in the center. It is great. Just around the corner is main Av 9 Julho and few steps further Obelisco. Walking just a couple of hundreds of meters, you will see Av Corrientes which is nice street if you like some fine shops, restaurants, theaters, etc.
Casa Rosada is also few hundreds of meters in another direction. Walking there do not forget very beautiful and traditional Cafe Tortoni and their Tango shows every evening.
For those liking some spa or sauna, hotel has it...included in the price of stay as well.
Breakfast of the hotel could be however a bit more extended.
