Copamarina Beach Resort and Spa, GUáNICA

My family and I stayed at this hotel to experience the other side of Puerto Rico. This hotel is small. cozy and clean. However, get ready to drive up a high moutain with a very narrow road. We drove up one night and it was scary. This is a place I would recommend for anyone who wants to stay up on the mountain during their stay. The breakfast was delicious. You can take a boat to Gilligan's island, great experience and fun place. Staff are friendly!

Beautifull beach, Awesome pool area, We did the all inclusive package nothing to worry about no hidden costs, meals were excellent and all you can drink.... Very romantic, very quite

My husband and I went there for our honeymoon. We did not know what to expect. Breathtaking!!! We lounged by the beach during the day. And went for walks at night. The location was perfect. Gilligan's Island was an adventure that you should not miss. We stayed two weeks and we visited this small island three times. You can get some of the best snorkling done. Honeymooners will not want to leave.

Well it was very beautiful and clean they have very good people that work there and they are very nice.

I don�t normally write reviews on places I have stayed. I felt the Copamarina needed one. It was 4 of us who stayed in the room. We were off to a very bad start. When we landed the transportation we paid for was no where to be found. We had confirmed with the hotel a couple of days prior to leaving but we could not find the car to take us to the hotel. It actually worked out in our favor because taking a taxi from the airport was less expensive about $40 dollars less. The following morning the manager did not take any responsibility for the car not being there. He called the service that the use and confirmed the car was there. We also felt the property was misrepresented on the website. At the time the resort site stated there would be a �Adventure Tour desk� at the hotel to help plan excursions. There wasn�t. The front desk gave us a brochure and said we can call from the room and plan our own excursions. Luckly we had the front desk call and a front desk agent suggested we use a local car service Angel. Well that was a blessing. Angel was very nice and courtous and took us were ever we want to go. I would avoid the excursion company and ask for Angel. Tell him where you want to go and he will take you. We went horseback riding, took a boat ride and went shopping. Another blessing was not paying for an inclusive package. I went with my daughter and she is a very picky eater. They served seafood/fish and we both do not eat that. Another miss quote was the price for the food. FYI breakfast is about $15 per person lunch is about $20 and dinner is about $22 and up. Over all the property is very nice and the people are very friendly. I travel every year to someplace new and I have always had a good time and would go back. I had a good time at the Copamarina but I would not ever go back.

Not only can you have fun in the sun, people are really nice. There is a hidden treasure in that part of the island. It`s called "Gilligan`s Island". You can snorkel without mask. I saw approximately 50 feet straight, without the mask. It was amazing. Great service, great rooms, excellent ambiance. I will recommend it not even to the natives...
