Breezes Bahamas All Inclusive, Nassau

I loved the day to day activities, MARVIN one of the conductors was GREAT!. great personality, him and the rest of the crew gets the crow going. Marvin makes sure to address everyone by his./her name. The winnin coins are just a plus to motivate more people but we all do it for FUN. The customer service and friendliness are #1. WE loved it and will be back soon. The only thing I can recommend is having a bi-lingual person at the front desk (English-Spanish)

We spent 4 nights and 5 days at this awesome resort! This was our first "real" vacation and we were unsure of what to expect. Everything was wonderful. The staff was so friendly and attentive. We lost water on our floor for a few hours one day and were greeted with a bottle of champagne when we returned later on. Food was wonderful and the drinks were bountiful! We can hardly wait to return next year for a longer stay. We've even recruited a group of friends to go with us. I highly recommend this resort!!!

My husband and I spent 4 days at Breezes and had a ball!! The staff are so nice and friendly and always something going on as far as entertainment. Drinks and food were good and beach and pool awesome!!! Rooms nice plenty of towels and we had a awesome view of pool area and beach. Would go back again for sure!!!

Went for 10 days 4th to 14th of January 2012, After reading some of the reviews where not to sure what to expect, but let me tell you it was realy great, frendly saff, good food, very clean. Good value for your moeney. Pools and Beaches spotless. The room clean and nice. The washroom with big showers lots of towls. The Buffett with lots of different dishes, great salat bar. Always different for Lunch and dinner, Did not get tired of it even after 9 days witch is a suprise as I am a chef. The 2 other resturants nice with ala carte menu. Lots of optional tours at reasonable prices, Meet some people on the snorkeling tour who stayed in the more expensive resort who where by far not as happy as we at ours. Really great Vacation Stefan

Just got back from Breezes Bahamas and absolutely loved it!! I only had a couple complaints, but even with that, the positive far outweighs the positive. Our water pressure wasn't very good and a couple times the hot water was tepid at best. We did request an extra pillow that we didn't get until 2 days later. Having said that, the buffet was great with a really good variety. There was something going on all the time. We chilled out on the beach, played lots of volleyball and beach games run by the staff. Marvin, Shawnee and tiffany were great! Always on the go and making sure to say hello and get you involved. The house band was great at night and the shows the different theme nights were alot of fun. the 2 restaurants were very good. The beach was beautiful and the water clear. The trapeze was scary but great fun and the kayaking on the ocean was very peaceful. It was very easy to get into town to make the tourist rounds. There is a very nice little zoo close to the hotel and the pirate museum is alot of fun. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. I don't understand the bad reviews...really.....you're fed all day and all night, the drinks are free flowing, the staff is great and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. There is Something for everyone whether you want some peace and quiet on the beach or keep active all day and night. Take the time to experience everything this resort has to offer and there is no way you will be disappointed.

After reading a lot of negative reviews, our expectations were somewhat low. We arrived at Breezes around 2pm on Christmas Eve and were given our room keys at about 2:15pm. We were happily surprised and received both of the rooms we requested on the 8th floor. If you go here, request a room on the 7th or 8th floor - they have tile floors and the bathrooms look newly renovated. The staff was incredible, as everyone has said, but they really made the stay memorable. The buffet, although not a 5-star restaurant (in quality), it had tons of variety. I don't know what the people who complained would want more of! I am a vegetarian and lactose intolerant and I was satisfied (a little too much!) at every single meal. We were a bit disappointed with the restaurants on the resort (we didn't go to the Garden of Eden because there are no vegetarian options there), and although Martino's had a lot of vegetarian options (no non-dairy though), the food was similar and of similar quality as the buffet. After reading many reviews, we all brought a beach towel and used them when necessary (2 or 3 times). The marine wildlife on the resort was amazing! We saw several starfish, couple sting rays, several lion fish, crabs, and lizards. We also rented scooters which I believe is definitely worth while - we saw the entire island in an afternoon and Jaws Beach is worth the 30 minute drive. There's a bike rental place just west of the resort on the south side on the same road (it was $65 for 9 hours which is a MUCH better deal than renting downtown). We also went snorkeling with Stuart Cove's and Bahama Divers, which were both worthwhile and both had their positives. Bahama Divers is cheaper and you can buy a DVD of the trip (under-water camera) for $30.

Loved it.....now to comment on all the bad reviews. Number one, seagulls......when you have food outside they do not bother you, its when you set it down and turn your back.....it will be gone. Its fun to watch the newbees that show up and don't know this. People get there burgers and fries at the stand and set the food down then turn away.......You need to have your food taken away by seagulls. The staff was great in every way. These people know customer service. As for the building being dated........I think it was fine, everything worked. Great value........Those of you that don't like it??? you just take yourself and your wallet to Atlantis and stay. The end.

I have never written a review about anything and actually posted it ,however I feel the need to provide a view of the Breezes resort to assist future travelers. Upon arrival at the resort I could clearly see the hotel is old and very outdated. Most of the staff is friendly and willing to assist you anyway they can. The resort is all inclusive and an employee did greet us at check in with a tray of drinks to welcome us. As I stated before this hotel is extremely dated. We had a group of 6 and although we ended up enjoying the overall experience, there are some issues that should definitely be addressed but I’ll start with the positive. The hotel did provide a FREE shuttle from the airport, this was extremely convenient. The drinks were all free and it free flowing, they want to ensure you enjoy yourself. The hotel isn’t far from the downtown area. A short taxi ride and we were able to enjoy the shops and local cuisine. The bathrooms have been updated and the hotel activity staff is very friendly and have a great time. On the other end…. The hotel is so outdated, the décor is not the best to look at, but with the free drinks flowing you learn to look past that. The food on the other hand…. I could not. They have 2 restaurants on the resort along with a buffet and poolside grill. Let me just say, that poolside grill is the only that kept us going. They had simple hamburgers and hotdogs but they were tasty. As for the buffet? No Ma’am, the food was cold and seemed to be sitting out all day. The breakfast was the best meal of the day. However the dinner was a mess. There were not a whole lot of options and what they did have was a guessing game of “name that meat”. As I stated before, there are 2 restaurants….I can’t speak on the quality of that food because they were booked the whole time we were there. We stayed for 4 days and were unable to eat there once. We called in the morning to make the reservations(As required) but they were booked up. Even after voicing my concern for not being able to enjoy the other restaurants, they still didn’t really care and wouldn’t allow me to make reservations for the next day. Another issue was the room service, I know we waited for towels on several occasions. One day we waiting 45 minutes and called 3 times and still nothing. I understand the urgency in the islands is not the same in the US but 45minutes for some towels is a little crazy. Lastly, let me talk about the killer birds. Okay, I use the term killer loosely. Those seagulls RUN the resort. They are everywhere, if you have food in your hand beware. They are absolutely everywhere and they attack you at a moment’s notice. I think Breezes-Bahamas is a great choice for drunk college students. If you are looking for something cheap and that can offer free drinks, this is your spot. In the end we made the most of the trip and it turned into a fun experience but I would never stay again. We left the resort hungry and terrified of birds. Happy Vacationing,

my family and I went there... it was great... my kids are over 20 and they loved it.... the beach was great.... downtown was amazing to shop and see the port where the cruise liners dock and the people are fantastic.... Atlantis was good, but not worth the money. i can't wait to go back.....i may even stay at the same place... the food was good, the room was good, and entertainment was great.... lots to do.... we loved every minute of it.......i want to go back NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband and stayed at Breezes at the end of December and celebrated the New Years there. It was our first time at the Bahamas and we are going to Jamaica in June of 2011, so I hope we will have the same enjoyable experience. I would recommend going to Bahamas for New Years, they have the biggest party dowtown called the Junkanoo - Bahamian Festival. After we celebrated New Years at the Resort we went Downtown and it was so much fund, we stayed until 5 in the morning. Ok now about the resort. It was mainly clean, it is a bit old and has outdated room, but who cares, you are in the Bahamas you are not going to spend your time in the hotel room. :) The food was good, the buffet was fine, but I really liked the grills by the poolside the jerk chicken and burgers. The Beach was nice, although it was kind of cold when we were there. For the restorations you had to wake up kind of early and make reservations, otherwise they would be booked. This is the only hassle about it. I would recommend that you go on a BOOZE Cruize, it was the most fun we have ever had, :) We would definitely go back, we loved it for the money it is a nice resort.
