Be careful

We took a cruise to Nassau for our honeymoon. During our short stay in the bahamas, we found the locals to be very rude. They follow you around, begging you to allow them to braid your hair and buy stuff from them. We took a tour of Nassau and the people showing you around expect a tip. I gave a guy $2 and he got very upset and said thats what he does for a living and he cant make it off $2. I told him to give it back then and get a real job! Then, we stop next to the beach and the guys selling conches try talking to my wife. This was our honeymoon, so please understand my frustration. My wife is a former model, but this is not the way to approach anybody, much less a newly married lady with her husband next to her. These men kept on and on asking my wife to go with them and they will show her a good time! Telling her "Come on pretty girl, come with us and we will show you good time pretty girl"! I had to have our guide hold me back as I wanted to hurt them. The people were very pushy, rude, and not helpful. As far as Atlantis went, it was nice to see it, but definitely not worth spending big bucks on. Hopefully this will help you make your decision not to go to the bahamas.
