Paradise Island Harbour Resort, New Providence

Dirty, AC didnt work in 1st room, barely worked in room they switched us to. Musty moldy rooms. Overall not a very good place. Ok if you are a teen on spring break I suppose.

Cool place on a budget with teenage son, ya it was college kids like crazy. I had fun thou, good drinks....throw down a few american bucks..the locals will cater to you. Wasnt far from walking distance to shopping and the local's are friendly. I went with a attitude be on guard..they were the friendly people. Cable beach was cool, jet ski, nice local beach. Try the sands beer there..man was good! Hotel buffet was okay, typical buffets for resort, hotel room was okay, not super fancy, but clean n economical priced. Wasnt the worst place, but do able. Give it a try.

even though there was disgusting bathrooms with rats and the furniture was had hair on it and stains AND the whole place smelt like poo, we very much enjoyed our stay. The service was horrible but who cares. we got booze and got to partay. The best bit were the beds;)

when we arrived there about 10pm on a saturday night..there were tons of teenagers there for grad city month...the room i booked was suposed to be a king smoking..we got a double smoking..the room smelled like mildew and hot..the air didnt work..floor was dirty..the next day i went to front office and asked for the room we paid for..the hotel lady didnt give me a hard time..just relocated us to the 6th floor..much cooler and a little cleaner..the gradcity kids were out of control..some almost got snatched (girls and boys)..could bareley sleep at night due to teenagers being out of control..food was not great at all..all three resturants were bad..the swimming pool had tons of clorine in it..due 2 the kids spilling there drinks in the pool..doesnot look as big as it looks on the pictures they advertise..lot's of couples were upset they had came there thinking that it was suposed to be romantic.."But in all"..It was a beautiful scenery outside the hotel..some of the staff was really nice and welcoming..they cannot help they way the owner keeps that hotel up..they just work there..we got a chance to meet alot of people..i would go back to nassau bahamas but not that hotel.

Because of uninhabitable accommodations and an unfortunate injury, we had to cut out trip short and return home. The state of the hotel and the grounds surrounding the hotel were grossly misrepresented resulting in great discomfort and early departure. The hotel room appeared to be decomposing. The towel bar and curtain bar in the bathroom was thoroughly rusted and peeling. The faucets shook each time they were turned on. In addition, the room had an awful smell and was entirely dirty. In addition to the poor in-room accommodation, the hotel amenities and staff were not in the least accommodating to guests. We ordered drinks at the pool bar after 12pm (the bar opens at 12pm) and were told the bar was closed. Furthermore, the waitress/bartender that was at the pool bar was extremely rude and complained to the guests about her job. My husband was hit in the forehead by loose screws sticking out of a board attached to an outdoor shower by the outdoor pool. The looseness of the screws was the result of the negligence of the maintenance of the Resort. We reported the injury to the hotel staff and have yet received any redresses from the Resort or its managing company, Driftwood Hospitality. We will never stay at any of their resorts again.

Much like the prior review my husband, daughter, myself and other families had the same experience! The hotel is smelly, dirty and was dated. Our room was filthy. There were holes in the walls and the sheets were not clean, YUCK!!! The pool area looked dirty, and there were really loud crowds and loud music. Anyway, as soon as we were taken to our room on a scary clunky elevator, we called our travel agent and booked out the door.

unless you're a college kid looking for a cheap vacation which includes all the booze u can drink and all the sub par food u can eat. My wife and I, along with my daughter and her friend booked this trip based on the recommendations of an online travel agency. Got there...were shown to our rooms....immediately went downstairs to the lobby and switched to another hotel. Lobby was dated and dirty...room was a joke (overlooking a construction yard and several dumpsters) food was barely edible, pool was a mess...beach...Ha what beach? This place needs a complete facelift or perhaps a wrecking ball. Fortunatley we were able to find a room in the Comfort Inn Suites around the corner. Saved several hundred dollars...complete access to Atlantis which was less than a half block away. Our vacation was saved and we had a great time. I have to say that the people at the Paradise Island Harbour were very nice, and do I understand that it's not their fault that they work at an outdated...weather worn resort. Unless u are desparate for a Nassau vacation and have limited funds STAW AWAY from this resort.

rooms are old the bathroom needs to be redone the food ok very young crowd not good for older crowd will not go back

My friend and I did a 4 day girl's weekend get-a-way. Location was great - Walked to Cabbage Beach,pond with wildlife, the Cloisters (free hotel walking tour), Atlantis and the water Ferry to Nassau. It is an old Hotel and could stand to remodel bathrooms and some areas. However, the food was great and plentiful, as were the drinks. Never a hassle with anything while there. Talked to folks who paid 3 times the price and did not have food included. Came home with money left over and even ate out and did tours. Great Place - hope it is there next time I go there.

This is a great priced resort with spacious rooms, good food and great drinks. The staff makes this place. We have stayed here 5 times and can't wait to go back in June.
