Hope Town Harbour Lodge, Hope Town

We love Hope Town Harbour Lodge so much! Tom, the manager, goes way beyond anything one would anticipate to create an environment as pleasant and comfortable as any place we have been. Our daughter was married on the beach in front of the lodge. Tom helped make it perfect in every way. Now, with grandchildre, we stay at the Butterfly House. It is perfect for us. Our daughter, her family, and my husband (and I) anticipate our relaxing time there each year. This trip is a wonderful and welcomed gift to our daughter and her beautiful family. I know...I am proud of them!!

Hope Town Harbour Lodge is a true gem! As a Bahamian visiting Abaco for the first time, I was beyond impressed! Hope Town Harbour Lodge is gorgeous; the feeling as soon as you arrive is so peaceful and friendly! The staff were all amazing; so helpful and courteous! They even had a golf cart bring all our bags to the bungalow for us! Another great plus is the free dockage for your boat (on a first come, first serve basis-but we had no problem, and it was a busy regatta weekend!) The grounds are so lush and well-kept, the pool is beautiful, and it's all just steps from the gorgeous beach! All the buildings are so quaint and beautifully painted and maintained. Our bungalow was adorable, and spacious. I will DEFINITELY be returning to the Hope Town Harbour Lodge!! Of all the places I've visited in The Bahamas, this is one of my favourites!

This was by far the most surreal area I have ever imagined. I cannot even begin to describe the feeling of being there. The service was great. The people were wonderful. I loved this place as soon as I got there. Everyone was curtious and helpful. The children loved the beaches and pool. I loved it so much that I had my wedding there. Longing to return to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets again. If you hat the rat race and need a place to be grounded.... Then this is the place for you to do it!
