Marques del Valle, La Soledad

I stayed at the MDV Hotel 9 years ago and found it to be an excellent location (in front of the Zocalo) next to the cathedral. My room was spacious, somewhat spartan but comfortable and with an adequate bathroom. Nine years ago I paid USD45/night and was very pleased with the proprty considering that I had to transfer from another hotel, which was only USD5 less, but in sad shape. I assume some enhancements may have occured since I last stayed, and if I were going there tomorrow, I would head straight to the MDV hotel.
