Hotel Maralisa, Adolfo Lopez Mateos

This is a terrible place. I arrived there and some lady was complaining that she needed more towels cause 2 wasn't enough. I asked what she was talking about, turns out they only give you 2 towels a day regardless of how many guests are in the room and there are no extra towels in the pool areas. I spoke to the manager and he agreed to give me 4, because it was 4 people in my room, NEVER HAPPENED. The room was terrible. The AC wasn't working, so I asked for it to be fixed, NEVER HAPPENED. My shower was overflowing because the water wasn't going down the drain fast enough, NEVER FIXED. Missing tiles out in the balcony. We noticed little bugs crawling everywhere, so we resorted to going to the walmart and we fumigated our room and bought extra towels ourselves. This was during Christmas vacation so alot of places where all booked and we wouldn't get our money back if we left so we had to just deal with it for a whole week. The reception area supervisor was a totally rude man who really had no customer service experience or was mad at the world. This was our first family vacation and would have been much better had the room been in a decent condition. Don't be fooled by any pics you see posted up here, not even close to the real thing. I don't care if the room would have been $10 a night, I would not stay here. I'm just glad we had 3 days in Mexico City before here, where our hotel was wonderful, It was the "Camino Real". I am from Ca. and Motel 6 is luxurious compared to this hotel, they don't even have telephones or little fridges in there. In total we had 3 rooms as it was a bunch of us who decided to spend the holiday up there, all the rooms were bad. DON'T STAY HERE!

I stayed here with my daughter for 2 weeks last March, 07. It was wonderful....traveling through ACA by myself and 7 year old the staff made us feel safe and secure. The rooms have been redone and the air was cold. I am making reservations now for next Mar, 08....Vicki EVV, IN
