BEST WESTERN Plaza Genova, Fracc Guadalajara

Did not honor my online reservation for $82. Instead they charged me $104. No AC, no sauna, no telephone service...in fact they call for you and LISTEN to your conversation from your room. We tried to call another hotel and they would HANG up.....We finally went down stairs and they said they were sorry. We asked to speak with the manager........but he didn't have the pelotas to come down. We went to Hotel San Francisco. Saved 40 and better rooms with AC and a great patio. We are Mexican and we thought we were going to get great service...and they messed up. I am a doctor and my wife works for NASA......they miss judged us. They should treat people nice, regardless of how they look. The two girls up front are rude and over charged us. On top, they ripped our buss tix.

Great location.Great service. This hotel may be considered a 3-Star hotel at best, but the service and hospitality is unmatched. Within walking distance of historical sites. Transportation from the airport/hotel and back was a breeze. Langauge barrier was a challenge but easily conquered by english-speaking bell-hops. Very clean hotel and very quick service. This hotel is a keeper.

What I like about this hotel was its location. it was within a walking distance to a lot of places, my husband and I enjoy the walking especially in the afternoon after dinner. Also the room was very clean and comfortable. we definitive will stay at this place on our future trip to Guadalajara.
