The Palms Resort of Mazatlan, Sabalo Country Club

Best Kept Secret ~ Book here for #1=Rooms,#2=Pool,#3=Beach All are great. Typical Hol. Inn Rms. redone in marble. Huge marble shower. Super clean, well appointed and comfortable beds. I cannot believe this Hotel isn't rated higher. We checked out others in area and prefer this. Going back 2007 ~ No brainer decision. Keep this a secret so prices stay fair. Likely taking fiends next year for the deal of deals.

We stayed here in mid-October 2005. There is some construction work going on now to improve this older property. This did not interfere with our enjoyment of the stay. Rooms are very spacious and well appointed with most amenities. Staff was courteous and helpful. Great ocean views from the room/balcony. The pool "blends" into the ocean and was well maintained.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree twice. Once on our honeymoon and again on our last anniversary. During our honeymoon stay, we had a view of the mountains, our last stay had an ocean view with patio doors that opened to the pool. It was breathtaking. They have an infinity pool so looking out our door, it looked like it opened to the ocean. The rooms were very clean both stays. The air conditioning was perfect. The service was good, they really got to know you and knew what you liked. 2 restaurants made dining a pleasure. We hardly ever left the hotel! One warning - Time share sales - they are relentless!

We brought our two small children to Mexico, this was a wonderful hotel. Not only was the price great, but the free meald for our children and daycare on site made our vacation a delight. The hotel was very clean and the service was terrific! We cannot wait until next winter to go back, this time owithout the kids!!
