Talbot Arm Motel, Dawson

I like this place, never stayed in the hotel part, as we were always traveling and needed to get going, but it was always a good place to stop for breakfast on the way down to the states (we live in Alaska) and always a good place to have dinner on the way home. Since i haven't been there in a few years, when my fiance'e and i get married, we will soon be taking a Alcan Highway vacation, and we will definitely stop there

The owner Garry and his staff was very accommodating to my request to operate Amateur Radio from their motel. The staff was polite and the food was great. I had a wonderful time! KL7JR/VY1RST

i was there in the evening and the food was disgusting the cook name was joe the service was great our waitress was super friendly i would go back as long as that guy was not cooking in the morning the service was great and the breakfast was very fast and good

dustin the cook was the best cook on the alaska highway it is too bad he does not work there anymore the food has really dropped in quality

Stayed here twice in 2006 (June and Sept.) while on a road trip from Arizona to Anchorage and back. Beautiful scenery, friendly staff, great food, and terrific accomodations for a motel in the middle of nowhere. Lots of travelers and truckers stopped for fuel and food.

The staff was eager to greet me and my family. We had made reservations and had said we would be interested in some fishing. Not only did they have our room ready when we got there, they had arranged for a local fishing guide to take me and my family fishing the following day. We ended up staying THREE extra nights there because of the beautiful scenery and great hospitality.If you are in the area, do not miss the Burwash Landing museum, that place is incredible. Thanks, Brock, Colin, Jessica, Jairyn, Shauna, and Shannon for your extra efforts to make our visit to the Talbot Arm the most enjoyable.

Awesome view from the restaurant, me and my wife were stunned by the beauty of this place! We're going back next summer! And I'm bringing my fishing rod this yime!

Over all I felt my viste at the Talbot Arm Motel was enjoyable, besides the waitress, she was amazing. I think her name started with an "S", perhaps shannon or sandra. Anywho, blonde hair and wow.. smiles all around. Very chatty, she even had a dog team! She alone made our stay at the Tabot Arms a memorable one. We highly recomend it to anyone passing through Destruction Bay.

Everything about this motel is great ! The service, the food, the location colin is a nice host
