Northwoods Inn and Suites, Saskatoon

Strangers knock at the doors at all hours of the night. The phones dont work. Last time we stayed we were terrified because someone opened the door to a stranger knocking and was stabbed repeatedly. service is poor. very scarey hotel to stay in. Next time if I cant find a hotel i'll take my chances sleeping in the car over night.

No star rating - does not even deserve one star. The room and bathroom were in terrible shape. My teenage son, typically not too fussy, looked at the tub and shower and indicated would rather not use - was not to difficult as shower did not work anyways. We were there at a time hotels were a premium - none of us (team booking) given its reputation were excited to be there - we stayed one night and looked for better accomodations. Three other couples paid for one night and did not even stay at the hotel and went searching for cancellations at other hotels given the room condition, environment and gatherings of people outside their rooms. One individual and his son choose to drive 2 1/2 hours back home late at night and drive up again the next day to the game. Warning! Demands prepayment and has no refund policy - has a policy to not show you room if you request to see it first- so buyer beware! Took me 40 minutes to finally check out and get one night of the two nights booked reimbursed - owner extremely rude!

Everything was disgusting - our non-smoking room was in no way "non-smoking" - shower didn't work - no hot water - noise level was HORRIBLE.

I am hard pressed to know what I will remember most: the fastball team partying next door, the tough chicks fighting on the sidewalk outside after last call from the bar next door or the police cars who careened up with sirens going to break things up. Since I didn't sleep much at all, I will not be returning there. Any monetary saving was undone by the circumstances.
