Sheraton Four Points Montreal, Montreal

My friends and I stayed at this hotel back in 2008 during a holiday weekend. I booked the rooms online and from the pictures that were on the website, it seemed like a great place to stay at. To my surprise when we arrived at the hotel, from when we first entered to when we left, we were really disappointed!! Here are all the disappointments: 1- Supposedly there was supposed to be a so called "pool" at the hotel. We found out that the pool was actually across the street at another hotel and we were given access to it. 2- I thought that this hotel would have a parking lot, but instead they charged us about $20 dollars a day to keep the car in some underground parking. 3- The hotel pictures and description stated that there was a restaurant in the hotel. There was a restaurant, but it was closed. 4- The rooms were disgusting! Smelled like mildew and smoke. I didn't even want to put my feet on the floor, even with the slippers on! Don't even get me started on the bathroom. 5- The view from hotel room faced the back of the hotel, which was a pretty ugly view of some backyards and construction. I wouldn't return to this hotel, if someone payed me to stay there! The hotel was so pricey and the service received was crappy! Don't be fooled by the pictures!

I liked the location and the service of the hotel. My husband planned ahead something special for me and concierge took care of it perfectly for him, it was a wonderfule experience. The only thing I disliked was the small elevator and the valet parking was a bit cramped.

Usually stayed at the Quality Hotel. This time I was scheduled for Four Points. What a treat! Class act! Great service! Convenient to airport, and a quick ride to downtown. Can't wait to go back!

Not happy of the check-in wait as I had to wait almost 45min. and I checked in after 4pm. When I was finally let in, the room was still being made up when I got to the door. Not impressive. Fortunately, the staff was very professional and courteous. Rooms were spacious and clean. Cost for the hotel was unbeatable. Check-out was quick and easy. This is a well operated, no frills hotel. I would stay here again with no hesitation.
